Converse Block Party

I went to the Converse Block Party event two weekends ago to check it out at the Southorn Indoor Gym (which I never even knew existed.

It was a pretty fun event w/ a bunch of youth marketed stuff all mixed together --  skateboarding, graffiti, 1-on-1 basketball and dancing.   The graffiti wall was cool except NOT AT ALL a good idea to do indoors without better ventilation.  doh.  

The skating was fun to watch too.  This ramp was not so tall... short enough that I would ALMOST be tempted to try my luck on it.  (I never had the chance to actually skate on a half-pipe, I'm ashamed to say).

Gotta give some props to Jackie Chan Jr. here... still rockin' the bowl cut after all these years.  :-P
