Today's Beijing Air Quality: Smokey... Or it's going to be a long Winter...

Been up in Beijing the last week. It's pretty chilly up here compared to HK (a good 25-30 degrees cooler) but I've still been biking to the office most days.

Today I'm glad I didn't. The air smells like someone is following you around with a wood burning stove with the chimney pointed at you at all times...

I hope this doesn't get worse as the weather gets even colder. Going to be a tough winter! :-(

(and don't ask what's in the river...)
