From the official HK International Film Festival Bulletin:
More than Lucky to be ALIVE.
Amid rampant speculations, press-fueled gossip and industry-wide intrigue, the secret known only as 'Film Surprise' in the festival booking folder is finally out! At the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on April 6th, the film was revealed to be the world premiere of superstar Daniel Wu's directorial debut The Heavenly Kings, a mockumentary about the Hong Kong star-making machinery. The boys of A.L.I.V.E. (Conroy Chan, Andrew Lin, Daniel Wu and Terence Yin), the leads in the film, were whooping up the attention while directors such as Ann Hui, Yonfan and Mabel Cheung as well as actors Jackie Chan, Miriam Yeung and Stephen Fung were there to lend their support.

Inside, the energy was even more electric, with audiences stamping their feet and hollering out their enthusiasm during the screening. And when A.L.I.V.E. came back on stage for a Q&A, the result was epic, with the guys staying for over 45 minutes to answer all types of questions. They thanked everyone who made the film possible (especially their editors and cinematographers Phat Chan and Kim Chan) and even brought their crew up on stage. All in all, it was the most 'fun' screening at the festival so far, and you'll have another chance to catch the foursome in person again soon at the screening on April 9th at 3PM.

Stars on the red carpet include:
Derek Yee
Stephen Fung
Miriam Yeung
Jackie Chan
Paul Wong (?)
Sam Lee
Jo Kuk
Here's something from a Chinese website w/ coverage and some pictures from the premiere:
